I am on another trip. Several months after the last. But I am thoroughly enjoying myself. This is my summer send off. And the weather up here in Alaska reflects this (which I am quite happy with). Each morning I've been woken up by the bright sun over the mountain. Spent the night on Homer Spit two nights ago. Woke up and the fog was gone. The mountains around us were quite visible. I've had the pleasure of visiting and tasting beer from all the breweries from Homer to Anchorage. And now a day of relaxation and then tomorrow heading north for Fairbanks :] What could be better than roadtripping with my best buddy through Alaska dressed in autumn colors? Glaciers and bears and moose? It has been incredible. Each successive day is better....

Travelling
Well I've been travelling for nearly 3 months now. I worked my ass off all summer and now the money I've put away is all but gone. I've seen and been to many amazing places this time around: Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, (currently in) Greece and soon I will be seeing Croatia. Not sure when my next long travel will be. For now I'll enjoy the final wisps of this trip. Might be spending Christmas in Prague, but it's far from a guarantee. If not I'll be flying home to spend the holiday with my family. I've uploaded a few of the images I've taken on this trip, but there are so many more that I haven't. The next lon
Once Again: Travel
Seems like the only time I ever update my journal is when travel is the main focus. Once again this is the case and tomorrow I will be on a plane bound first for Iceland and then London. My heart races when I contemplate driving winding roads through the Icelandic countryside and wandering the streets and alleyways of London. I long to sit inside pubs sipping on beer pulled straight from cellared casks; riding the tube and arriving to Trafalgar Square or down to the Thames and Big Ben and the House of Parliament. Soon my friends, soon...London is definitely calling, and I'm almost there to answer...
The Wheels Move Again
Sitting on the precipice, a mere 2 more nights of working at Terra Vista and the casino and then it's off again; for three weeks or so at least. Heading back across the Atlantic to wander the streets of London once again. Then I'm making a quick pit stop in Washington, DC for four days. The thought of travelling again, being on the road, flying in airplanes, riding on trains and buses, through the London underground and seeing the Thames and Westminster, it will be great. Finally, I will unleash my photographic prowess on the city and hopefully come away with some lovely shots. Some new developments off the travel front, but I'll keep those o
Heading Home
Welp, the decision was made last week to call it quits and head back to Seattle. As it turns out, 5 months of jumping around Europe is a little tiring. So Sunday night will be my last night here in Europe (for now) and I'll land in Seattle around 1730 PST just in time to celebrate Independence Day. There are so many places around the world I'd like to see, but Europe for the moment has captured my attention. Perhaps I should focus on a less expensive travel destination? I guess we'll see :] toodles for now Europe, I'm sure I'll be back as soon as I can.
